It's a winter wonderland.... O.-

(This is from the 2nd of February)

I walked to the store seeing as the stupid ass plow guys blocked every car on the street with a good 4 feet of snow, ice, and slush...
-_-

So I walked (30 minute walk to Stop and Shop when the weather is nice, btw), fell on my ass multiple times and the one that hurt the most was in front of the Fire Department, on brick (why does the stupid State think brick is a good alternative to concrete? At least concrete isn't cut into rectangles and doesn't add to the pain of falling like bricked sidewalks do..) I literally lost my legs, landed on my back, and two fire fighters rushed outside to grab the groceries that made it into the street (a good few feet away) and helped me up. They offered me a ride home, but I would have had to wait an hour til their shift got off because all B.F.D.'s are basically on-call due to the weather conditions and a lot of freaking accidents happened today.

One in particular.

I was crossing the street and was half way across the street when I realized I dropped my wallet and had to walk back, no sooner did I make it back to the curb a dumb ass speed up going down the hill, slipped on black ice (even though they were telling people to drive slower than usual) and hit the freakin' lamp post where I would have been standing once reaching the other side of the sidewalk. I almost shit myself with shock.

Thankfully it was literally right across the street from the fire department (where I busted my ass) and they were able to get to him before his car shot up in flames. Dumb ass. Where there is mountains upon mountains of ice and snow, why would you want to become speed racer just then?

It's one hell of a shitty day outside.

I am not going back out until the morning when we have to hit the meat store in Quincy (they sell really good meat nom nom nom) and I must tell you... I love some of my neighbors. Especially the saints next door. They helped Elmer get my step mom's car out of the snow, took them a few hours to do it (would have taken him a hell of a lot longer), but nonetheless, they helped him get it out so I can actually get the rest of the groceries tomorrow.. And the meats!

=}

If it gets any colder just call me the Abominable Ducky.

Or Diamond Cutter Duck.

Yeah...

I said that before one of you could. XP
